This hair is really nice. I’m a crochet girlie and this hair matches my natural texture which is great because it means less manipulation of your leave out. I’ll be doing crochet braids with leave out and I can’t wait to use this hair. I almost prefer bulk hair as opposed to the feather crochet hair. It’s true to length (you have to remember to stretch the hair out when measuring) and soft. It didn’t shed during washing/conditioning because I kept it inside the net during the process. It did have a slight smell typical of hair extensions prior to washing so I highly recommend washing and conditioning it before use.. I will be ordering more.

If I were rating on texture alone, it would be an easy five stars.Where it lost me was the usability. The hair comes as one large, dense ball with no real separation, and unless you’re a professional who’s used to working with bulk hair, it becomes chaos fast. As soon as you try to pull it apart, the strands cling together so tightly that it’s hard to tell where the top, middle, or ends even are. I wanted to try this texture because it’s very different from my own, but the lack of sectioning made the process frustrating instead of fun.Another drawback is the amount. For someone like me who prefers full coverage for protective styles, there simply wasn’t enough hair to create the look I wanted. Between the difficulty separating it and the limited volume, I ended up giving up on trying to make sense of the bundle.The hair itself looks natural and authentic, but the presentation and quantity hold it back from being truly usable for non‑professionals.

I love using this type of bulk hair because it blends so well with my natural hair. I have Type 4 hair and usually wear it in twists and braids, so finding hair that matches well is important.This hair is very soft to the touch. I was able to easily separate and grab the pieces I needed without it tangling. It blends seamlessly with my natural hair. I tested it by adding some to one of my twists, and it was hard to tell that I had added any extra hair at all.It also works well for reinforcing styles. I used it on a friend with a finer hair texture to add more body to her cornrows, and it made a noticeable difference without looking unnatural.There is a slight smell, which is common with this type of hair. A quick, gentle wash after I place it inside of a hair net for protection helps reduce it.The main issue I had is with the color. It is not a true black like I was hoping for. It has more of a brown undertone with a slight reddish tint that becomes noticeable under direct light. I also came across a few off-colored strands. When blended with my natural hair, it is less noticeable, but it is still something to keep in mind if you prefer a deeper jet black shade.This is a good option if you want soft, natural-looking hair for twists or braids that is easy to work with, especially if you don’t mind a slightly off-black tone.
